Having personally bought and sold multiple practices, Simon founded Practice Sales to offer fellow accountants the support and guidance they need to navigate these pivotal moments in their careers.
In 2023, Practice Sales joined forces with Owens Professional Partnership, combining over 30 years of experience in the mergers and acquisitions market. This merger brought together a wealth of expertise to better serve clients.
Rachel Lindley, Director of Owens Professional Partnership, brings over 15 years of experience in the M&A sector. With her legal background and deep understanding of the intricacies involved in mergers and acquisitions, Rachel adds another layer of professional insight and guidance to our team.

Before transitioning into Practice, Simon worked in financial services for a major high street bank.

Successful Accountancy Practice Owner:
Simon purchased his initial accountancy practice over 25 years ago and grew it through strategic acquisitions and mergers into a multi-site business with 24 staff and a turnover exceeding £1.25 million.

Founder of Practice Sales: In 2020, Simon established Practice Sales to capitalise on his extensive knowledge of buying and selling accountancy practices, offering a trusted service for other accountants.

Experienced Seller:
After selling his own accountancy practices in 2024, Simon now focuses exclusively on Practice Sales, working with Rachel. He is responsible for brokering deals and acting as the lead contact for sellers, guiding them through the entire sales process.
